Wow... time flies and stuff happens... I have been away way too long.... The puppies are growing into their own and doing well...Paws is the more laid back passive one and callie is a ball of energy and independence. They love to go for rides and long walks. They are eager to make new friends and don't really have much fear of anything.. They work hard at keeping the rabbits in the neighborhood in check and will chase them in an instant

It has been a wet and cool week..Most of the walks with the girls have been with umbrellas. The rain doesnt seem to bother them at all. They are still raring to go when we have finished our loop walk. Yesterday we took them to town with us and we walked on a big walk near the college campus in a sport complex. They slept all the way home and then was ready to go again. I wish I had that kind of energy.

It is incredible how quickly they come back from surgery. The girls had a good nite and did get a bit of food last nite before bed time. They kept that down all nite so today they are getting back on their normal food routine. They rode to town with us for brunch at our favorite place, then a little shopping and finally back home. They had a short nap along with the rest of the Pack. Took them out for a short walk around the neighborhood. They are now relaxing in their kennel.

June 2, 2006

Today was the day the girls went to see Dr Barbara and all the other ladies at Calm Animal Care in Kila Montana.

We dropped them off at 8 AM very excited and full of energy.

This is them full of energy and checking out anything and everything upon arrival at the clinic. Little did they know they were there to get spayed.

We came back and picked them back up around 3 PM. They were happy to see us, however they were in a very relaxed and mellow state. Callie weighted in at 32 pounds and Paws tipped the scales at 31.6 pounds.

This is their state of mind and activity after we got home.

They seemed so far to fair well from their ordeal. Understandably they were moving rather slow. Callie was the perkiest of the two. They had some water and went to the bathroom when we got home and then crashed.
